Original stories inspired by real women who've made a difference, said the byline. I am not a romance novels reader. It is an anthology of stories of women who have all done great things for others. Be it a Policewoman on the heels of predators from Almost Lost to the administrative assistant trying to shod the little girls in The Princess shoes, they were all exceptional women not once stopping to think about themselves. Of course, being a romance novel publishing house, it did romanticize social service, but the message was there loud and clear nonetheless. All it takes is one person to make a change. Everything can and will start small and it can reach enormous proportions with the will and dedication of one. It inspired me to try to do something keeping in mind compassion ans nurturing tendencies. This made me realize, one doesn't need millions to be charitable and no one needs a mega cause to begin charity. Charity is making the world a better place, but one village at a time, one township at a time. The blurb says 'We hope More than Words inspires you to look into your heart and find the heroine who lives within'. It definitely inspired me to look into my heart and take the first step towards taking action. Whether I find the heroine within me, remains to be seen.
